Your First Mobile Massage with Massage Integration – What to Expect!
A massage at your location is convenient and most of all relaxing. It’s important to have a large enough space already in mind that is quiet and comfortable for your massage. Usually a large living area, office or bedroom is ideal. Your therapist will bring all the supplies and equipment needed for your session. If you would prefer to use your own music and music system, please let us know.
Your therapist will arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment. It generally takes about 10-15 minutes to set up the massage space while you fill out your intake form. Your therapist will discuss how to best deliver your massage based on your health and wellness needs. Then the Lighting and temperature of the room will be adjusted for your comfort level. Make sure you have a robe or wear comfortable clothes that are easy to remove. Your therapist will leave the room while you undress. It is best to completely undress, but you can leave your underwear on if it more comfortable. You will be covered at all times with sheets except for the area of the body your therapist is working on at that time. Usually, half of your massage will be spent lying face down and the other half lying face up on the table, except for prenatal massage. Please let the therapist know if the pressure is too little or too much. We want you to feel good during your massage. If you are receiving a deep-tissue or any kind of therapeutic massage, their may be some pain felt in specific areas of your body, but this will usually subside as the oxygenated blood circulates and nourishes that area from the specific massage techniques applied.

Once your session is complete, the therapist will leave the room while you take ample time to slowly get up from the table to get back into your clothing. Once you are clothed, the therapist will come back in to the massage space to talk to you about how you feel and make sure you are doing well. It is important to drink plenty of water after your massage because the toxins in the tissues of your body were manually manipulated and released into your lymphatic system during your massage. The water will help to flush those toxins out.
Your therapist will break down his or her equipment, which takes about 10-15 minutes. And the best thing now, is that you are already at home to enjoy the rest of your afternoon or evening feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
